Their story
J & X travelled from Shanghai and first met our team in Okinawa, where we visited several venues together.
The pandemic had made a wedding impossible for them, and what they wanted most was simple: time for their families to be together with their guests, even if the celebration was a modest one. That wish led them to Oriental Hills Okinawa.
Here, the ceremony and reception take place across all 14 private pool villas, reserved exclusively for one wedding. The resort can host up to 36 guests overnight, and the couple reserved the entire property for two nights.
On the night of the reception, the celebration went on late into the night with their friends. Afterwards, they told us it had been a wonderful day — the most luxurious experience of their lives.
